This typical Martian impact crater assumes a familiar face through the addition of a few added natural features. The smiling mouth and the eyes are formed by fractures caused by the original meteor impact. The main crater is about 8 kilometers (miles) in diameter, making it another major Martian discovery--the largest known Happy Face in the solar system.
